The first time I found out about laser hair removal was through a billboard hanging in Knoxville when it was first introduced, I was immediately interested, but the prices were out of this world at the time. Fast forward to me living in Saudi, where laser hair removal is completely normal and what every female does, because of this it’s incredibly affordable. At the end of November 2017 I decided to take the plunge and buy a package which included everything but the legs and had the first session and 3 touch-ups included. I’ve always waxed so one thing I had to do was let the hair grow out, then shave. The roots need to be intact.

At my first session I was instructed to undress and wear a towel (in an absolutely freezing room mind you) and the lady put goggles on and gave me a pair too. It was pretty awkward having someone examine and laser you in your most private areas, but I just tried to be an adult and suck it up. While it wasn’t the most comfortable experience, it definitely wasn’t as bad as I expected (it pretty much felt like I was getting flicked with a rubber band over and over again). It doesn’t take more than 15-20 minutes. After the first session I had already noticed a HUGE difference, my armpits were practically already hair free. A few weeks later I went to another session, then waited 1 month for the third.

I haven’t used my last session because as of now I have no hair in any of the areas that I had the laser treatment, it looks like a fresh wax daily and the only thing I’m pissed about is not going sooner. My next plan is to take care of my legs and then just get touch-up as needed through my life. That’s a BIG win for the laser hair removal! If you’re in Saudi, I recommend this site for tons of offers (it’s where I found my own deal).
